Booked the day off to get my Sky installed. Sky man has been and gone.
So I could still go to work.
Or I could just lie around in my pj's watching crap TV all day. Yep, think ill put the kettle on.

But after 2 years I decided that I really had no interest in 95% of the channels that I was getting, so cancelled my Sky subscription.
So I was immensely pleased to find out that my Sky dish and box still worked, albeit with Sky's version of Freeview. So I now have the excellent picture that Sky can give you, without paying a single penny !

Oh what a wonderful day it's been.
Aside from the quick install I checked my bank account to work out how much money I was going to have to ask my sister to borrow so I can make sure my rent gets paid tomorrow only to find I got paid 4 days earlier than I thought I would (first pay from new job, it's been a loooonnnggg month). Woohoo!
I should add I'd never normally even consider getting sky because of the cost but thanks to a post from Andrew on here about our O2 broadband packages, I got the bargain of a century.
