tiger safari in India
Has anyone been on this type of holiday, if so any advice they can pass on would be helpful.

main advice is don't count on seeing tigers! There aren't that many left, but the government consistently overstates the figures.

You might be lucky, of course; a friend of mine saw a couple last year. But the chances are far lower than the chances of seeing lions in Africa.
