very busy place with narrow little streets but didn't see much of it, we took the scenic A59 and went through Harrogate, that's a busy place too but looked quite interesting, great meeting and we were all given a surprise thank you for attending, a 32gb Kobo Arc tablet !!! Absolutely delighted with that! Oh and the Minster is still there !

I've spent a day in Durham City as part of my birthday treat. Its such a lovely compact place and the Cathedral is awesome. York used to be my favourite place but most of the antique shops are now cheap touristy gift shops so its spoilt it a bit.

it was a meeting about the launch of some new departments in store. pity we didn't get the chance to have a mooch around the city though.

nope we definately spotted it, it was having a facelift i think, love the bendy buses too, we spotted the park and ride on the way in and i said let's try that, glad we did too, it would have been a pain driving in the city centre.
