Brilliant afternoon at cinema watching a rerun of the NT Live relay of The Audience - just incredibly good. Helen Mirren and Haydn Gwynne were brilliant, but in some ways Richard McCabe as Harold Wilson stole the show.

But then I came out to the reality of pouring rain and I'm 50 miles from home on the bike ... feck feck feck.

Hi both......it's not a film, Tony....it's a relay of a theatrical performance....I go to all of them...a real treat when you can't get to London.

Well worth a long trip, Dave...even in the wet. I saw it a couple of weeks ago with the Moaning Minnies and it really was brilliant...and yes...Harold Wilson stole it....even for my daughter who is too young to have known him. x
