In our local Tesco they've got a very good deal going and I'm wondering about getting it for the kids, sim only 500 mins, 500 texts 500 mb data for £7.50 a month. Now I know the deal is excellent but only if their coverage is good, so has anyone used Tesco Mobile and been satisfied?

Thanks

they use the same network as o2 if that helps at all
I'm in N Wales and use it.
No problems and find the service very good.X
Tesco use O2. I've had a phone off them for 18 months now. No problems so far.
I'm with Tesco and have never had a problem.
fatty is on tesco mobile, he's on the £15 per month plan which gives him 2gb data, 5000 text and unlimited calls. its also capped so if he reaches limits he can;t go over - which he has done on the internet (probably worth capping it)

he's hgv driver and goes all over the country and hasn't moaned about lack of coverage, from memory they use the orange and tmobile service

if i wasn;t locked into a bloody 24 month contract with virgin i would be moving over.

the only thing that's irritating is its an 0845 number to call for help so when you're setting up the internet and messaging services it gets expensive, cost me £10 + to call - but then i don't have a land line only mobile.

the customer service on the other hand has always been excellent

I also like that its a 30 day rolling contract so not tied in for a long period.

Excellent, might give them a whirl for the kids then. Now, how do you unlock an iPhone 3GS? Daughter wants it when I get my new one.
Take it to a market and they will unlock it for a few quid.

What, one of those little stalls that sell the phone cases?
Yeah...they tend to unlock them.

Great stuff, something for the old man to do.

Thanks all
tesco works in the back end of norfolk where O2 doesn't
O2 unlocked my old iphone for free

Lol, I can holiday in Great Yarmouth safely then ;)
Question Author
Hmmm, maybe Tesco might do that for me then, I'll be giving them 2 contracts.

Doobey...

Sorry, I want to read this at home and I can't seem to find the 'subscribe' button so I'm writing on it so it appears in questions I've answered... don't mind me! x
Yes, I use them and am happy!! They run off the O2 network so you need to put your postcode into the O2 website to find out their network coverage!!
