If you need another search just type in the name of the search engine you want to use: "www.Google.co.uk" or is it a different Browser you are looking for?

Your question is a little bit confusing to be honest.

Ok, In Firefox, go to tools > options > general tab and in the "When Firefox Starts" scroll to "my Home Page"

Then:where it says home page: put in http://www.google.co.uk/

I'm taking a bit of a stab here I'm afraid but I think this is what you are getting at.
