Rover 416 "S", water loss next to fanbelt.

I recently got my fan belt replaced, and the followinf week I noticed water dripping from something next to the fanbelt, is there some kind of connection? I took the car to a garage who said there was nothing wrong?

It could be the water pump if the belt has been put on too tightly
don't forget it's winter -if you keep topping up with water and it freezes overnight
