To all those interested this is yet another newspaper I read, and it is amazing that even Greece seem to have a Mosque problem.

/// The Pakistani, named Muhammed Zafeer says:

/// “Greece has to decide if it will be democratic or if it will go back to the Middle Ages” as he shrugs. ///

/// This quote is ridiculous on so many levels because first, if Greece was operating democratically, the decision to build a mosque would be voted on by Greeks, Greeks would overwhelmingly vote NO. Secondly, Greeks spent a good portion of the Middle Ages defending themselves against genocide by Muslims and after that had to deal with 400 years of Occupation under
them. ///

/// The situation of the Middle Ages has already returned! ///

In fact, I want to put this on the table now...I used to get very wound up by certain people on AB, but back in late 2011 I decided that the great thing about AB is that there were a collection of people, all of whom had very different views, and all of our views are equally valid. The are some (New Judge) whom I almost always disagree with, but who display an elegance of argument that cannot be denied.

I actually look forward to reading posts from those who I totally disagree with, because it forces me to re-evaluate my argument and test them for faults.

And then there are trolls.

I almost always disagree with joeluke, AOG, ToraToraTora, em10 - but none of these are trolls.

If you find my contributions so offensive, why did you bother posting a question asking where I was when I was on holiday?

I think I have been very good at keeping away from personal digs at you, but if I have not, please tell me where I've been going wrong and I will attempt to rectify in future...

I want you to appreciate this...

You wrote:

"you are often as bad as he is, if you ignore each other, at least posting nasties then surely that's better for both..."

Absolutely.

Which is why I have spent the past year ignoring every post shot he's taken at me.

This is what happens...

I post something on a thread to someone else, and then bazwillrun will take a shot.

I don't mention him. I don't ask for attention, but then I get something directed at me.

Not the question in hand...directly at me.

That is 'trolling'.

I will not accept it any more.

It is not what AB should be about.
Same old same old. Give it a rest.

Yeah...cheers.

But no.
Jeezo, why so shrill, Jill? My comment wasn't actually directed at you but at the endless BS about moslem this and muslim that.

I can't control the order in which posts appear any more than you can understand that it's really not all about you sp1814.

I apologise - I thought you were talking to me!
