What happens to the Union Jack if Scotland goes independent?

Oh yeah, Flower of Scotland. It talks of King Edward killing Scots but to be driven out and Scotland rising up again, I see. That must be a reference to Flodden , I suppose. Bit late to drive him out now! Who writes the SNP's foreign policy or their history curriculum?

FredPuli43 - I don't know what you're on about, but I do know that after independence, all Scottish policies will be decided by the Scottish electorate without interference from mumbling Westminster buffoons who seem to difficulty in pronouncing the letter R. Heah heah :-)

FredPuli43 - Flower of Scotland was written by The Corries folk duo as you probably know. For some reason or other it attracted the attention of the Hampden and Murrayfield halfwits and unfortunately has become the unofficial Scottish national anthem. The lyrics describe themselves - sentimental, maudlin, embarrassing rubbish.

Seemingly the protective strength of the symbol of the flag is accentuated by the emblem which distinguishes it. The banner/flag of a lord, of a general, of a sovereign, of a saint, of a congregation, of a corporation, of a country and so on protects by virtue of the insignia it bears!

Scotland already has its distinctive flag - the Saltire. If I had a flagpole on my wee but and ben this is the flag I would fly.
