Your email is too big, most, if not all, ISPs put a limit on the size of an email, for example gmail is 10MB (including attachments). Another way ISPs can limit emails is by restricting the storage space for emails, which means when the storage space is filled no more will be accepted until such times as the user downloads or deletes some.
If your email is actually 12MB and most of that is a large attachment or attachments then there is an alternative method. If you have more than 1 attachment, then zip them up into a single zip file.
Use a site that will allow you to upload files which the intended recipients can download from.
One that I use is http://www.yousendit.com/ you just fill in an email address (I use a disposible one that belongs to me) and browse to the file you want to send and upload it. When it has finished (you must leave your browser open) you will receive an email with a link, just send that link to all your recipients. They can then download the file, using their browser, by clicking on the link. If you use yousendit, they will have a week to download the file. I just use the free version which has a 1GB limit on a file.
