Hi folks... just back from hospital where I left him sitting up in bed, joking with the nurses... surgery apparently went very well and as it was done by a keyhole type method he should be home a little sooner. Lots of lines,drains and other attachments didn't stop him eating a LARGE SUPPER after about an hour on the ward. Will update you after I phone the ward later. soo relieved I feel like crying

just back from todays visit... all is well... most of the drips and all the monitoring has gone I think my snore free nights are limited
great progress, I was reading up on the VATS, great advance , hopefully offered to many more patients,
Send him my love Rowan. I didn't know he was ill - I haven't been on here very much in recent months. Take care of yourself. The news sounds extremely good!

I'd seen around the site that Redman was going into hospital for a procedure but was totally unaware of what was actually happening. I'm so glad that all went well and that he's doing well. I do hope you are looking after yourself too. Please pass on my best wishes for a speedy recovery to Redman and I'm sending hugs for you too
