Good morning all,

I was up quite early for a Sunday but that was because my smoke alarm was bleeping at me every couple of minutes. It hasn't even got a battery in it!! I've got new smoke alarms installed that run off the electrics but haven't removed the old battery operated ones. Anyone know how to stop it from bleeping?

Yes tigger, a 2lb engineers ball pein hammer will usually sort it out !.

I'll get my screwdriver out and take it off the ceiling before the hammering! Why is it still bleeping though? I took the battery out a few weeks ago.
