No different scene deb - although i did hear him dj in Manchester once as a support act- Big daddy Kane i think. He was a much better dj than his records.
No - i'm a manchester lad so i'm hacienda and house music through and through. Never liked clubbing in London.
Bottom? Wasnt the rumour that his real name was Bottom not Boland? Rubbish i'm sure?
Paul Anderson was (is?) a great dj (got a couple of his records/ remixes aswell - didnt he do a Kym Mazelle one?).
I still work in the 'business' but only on the edges thankfully. Got kids and that now but i can usually be found near a nightclub for one reason another most weekends.
I'm off dig out 'good groove' now and reminice about my youth - like you say its just not the same now.

That rumour might of come about because there were rumours about him being gay but those rumours went round about loads of them at the time and I never heard it until afterwards thankfully.D had a good crowd but P was by far the better dj.Things took hold of him though a few years ago.Think he is still djing though and hopefully better now. Gone are the days of shouts to me on Kiss, wbls and lwr.I even done a jingle for Kiss once,How embarrassing was that?Even more embarrassing is that I still have it on cassette! I done the whole house scene and rave scene but never made it to Manchester.I have a son now too so you have to grow up.Those pirate Kiss days were the best but it's now totally different and is just as commercial as the other stations.BIG shame.Glad some of the dj's have made it though TN,NJ,TW etc.Seems like I picked the wrong ones!
