Milk Of Magnesia Banned By The Eu
It seems the EU is determined to micro manage every aspect of our lives. They know better than the millions of people who have used this product for years with no ill effect.

My, that is democracy gone wrong. If a doctor , lawyer, or scientist gives their expert opinion based on experience, evidence, and years of study, then the opinion of millions of ignorant people against it is to be decisive? This may be a dangerous triumph for the masses. We'd still be thinking that the Sun goes round the Earth and blood doesn't circulate as Hervey described.
Chris- you sought opinion and viewpoints on a story in the papers and provided a link to one. The tone of your OP suggests you have sympathy with the view that this is an unnecessary intervention by the EU, meddling needlessly into our lives.
Several posters accepted your invitation to comment or offer an opinion, pointing out why this non-story might not be the best example of premise you offered in your OP - and then you take the hump? Don't you think you are over-reacting a tad?

LG - Really am not taking the hump. To be honest I do have sympathy with the viewpoint that the EU interferes unnecessarily in things it shouldn't but I have in the past had cause to debunk some of these stories myself, Bananas etc.
So I'm annoyed with myself for not reading the full article. Other than that it went pretty much as expected. Certain posters on here tend to talk down to people and treat them as if they were in a court. I'm not into allowing people authority over me that doesn't exist.

OK- enough of this Milk Of Magnesia .
Lets turn our attention to the latest news that the EU are looking into the size and colour of the tennis balls used in the wimbledon final .
Apparently they do not conform to EU laid down rules for size and colour .
Andy - dont spend that 1 million plus prize yet .
