I've got 2 questions re Wimbledon which I'm hoping someone will be able to answer.

Yesterday and today the ladies in the Royal Box were wearing large purple flowers - was there a reason for this?

Re the scoreboard, what decides whose name comes first? I thought it used to be the lesser rank's name 1st versus the higher ranked but that didn't work out every time. I then thought it might be alphabetical by surname or Christian name but that didn't work either. Does anyone know the answer please?

I thought the scoreboard reflected positions as on the draw sheet

the names will be in the seeding order with the highest number on top

how do they deal with non-seeded?

The seedings order doesn't work - Sabine's name was above Serena's! That's what I originally thought then I thought maybe it was alphabetical - but that didn't work out either!
