Wallshield treatment
4 Answers
Has anyone used Wallshield for exterior walls? We are getting a quote tomorrow as our house need repainting (I know it's not a paint treatment) and wondered if they are any good. Obviously have looked at their website and there are many glowing customer reviews - well they woudn't put bad ones on! We live in a semi-detached on a corner, so the house is exposed to all the elements. Thanks for any comments.

On the other hand, "Weathershield" and the rest, are much the same thing.
It would be interesting to compare their price with a conventional re-decoration. I would suggest you get prices of both.
I guess it's more durable than regular masonry paint. Price, I think, will decide.
What's the age and construction of the house....... brick/render?

Thanks for your comments, Builder. Had an interesting visit from the rep - when he got to the quote, he said something like '1650' but didn't clarify it. We naively thought '£1,650', when in fact he meant £16,500 - a ten fold difference! We nearly fell off our seats. Didn't wall the wall rebuilding! Needless to say we'll be getting other quotes.
