i was looking at a link on the news and saw a piece of the new citizens test, ten questions, this was my score, quite funny really.

I dislike people who boast about their knowledge. I prefer to be modest and Not tell people that I got 10 out of 10 and thereby remain an anonymous English speaking Welshman. :-)

I got 10 right. I did have to guess the first one - sorry, English geography isn't my strong suit.

The article said these are *sample* questions...not that this is a full test. I'm sure the real thing is far more extensive.

The sample test I have seen has such gems as "What is the population of Wales? ". (Don't all guess ! ) The relevance of most questions was not obvious. Knowing what a queue looks like would be helpful.
