haha! Thanks for all the fab replies! I did have a great time, and the concert was special. The Queen, Charles and Camilla were there, I think Zara Phillips was too, but I didnt see her.The concert is on tv tomorrow night.The posh fish n chips was delicious, and the pimms (3 of them) potent and the pink champagne was moreish to say the least. I felt emotional when Katie sang, as the song has a special meaning to me, about a lovely friend, who was going to be there, and passed away, so I was . priviledged to be asked to go in her place to represent her. I would write more, but I only just got home, and I need a large glass of something!
Thanks for your replies, I did polish all my bits jno,didnt need my tent Uriah Heep, I was in a nice place near County Hall,wiped my boots murray,and the |Greek sailor was pitched up with a cup of cocoa DTC, so I was safe.
Back to normality now,cheese n pickle doorstep, and cold beer :)
