How do you store yours in your kitchen cupboard.. upside down or right way up?

Eddie, isn't that for hygiene, so the glasses are picked up from the base?

Don't know the exact reason but every pub, bar ,restaurant I have ever used or worked in , and that is a lot, store them upside down.You will never see a glass stored right way up in any licensed establishment.(apart from 'show 'or 'display' glasses )

if your glasses are getting dusty or' stale air ' in them you either have too many glasses or you are not drinking enough,

Blimey....I googled...Legal way to store glasses...and got a page which wanted to know which country I was in...told me it was illegal to drink underage....asked me to accept their terms and conditions....and then sign in! Lord! I only asked about clean glasses...:-) x

Both. Usually upside down to prevent dust & insects getting inside though.

Eddie, you may also have noticed that in a licensed establishment, they are stored (or should be) on criss cross mats which lets the air in and any residual water out.
