Has anyone been and is the weather still good then? Also any recommendations of good hotels?

the coast, you mean? It can be fine but it's cooler than summer, can be wet or even stormy.

Haven't been there during October but the weather is still good. It would be best to visit Croatia during September and May because of warm temperature.
