I just want to moan about result of the lincs & notts air ambulance quiz,just got it back and got 105 points but second & third place with 106 went to the same person who entered two quiz sheets, i know others might have got 105 so third place would'nt have been guaranteed to me, yes i know its for charity and the more money the better but that sort of thing will put people off doing it. Anyway moan over i'll start ding the next one singers or groups.

I see your point but I suppose if it was a raffle people who buy two tickets could win two prizes

I have always felt these quizzes to be rather unfair. To begin with, the winners are (almost) without exception from a 20 mile radius of the compiler's home town. They are always widely advertised, but you hardly ever find a prize awarded to anyone outside Lincolnshire, and more often than not in, or very near, to Louth. Occasionally he'll pick a winner of a lesser prize from Nottinghamshire - probably because it's the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance quiz so he thinks he'd better include Notts from time to time!I didn't do this one, but I usually do them, simply because I like his clues and the way his mind works, not because I feel I have the slightest chance of winning.
