After a long hot day, I'd love to have a cool shower ...

... but my village currently has a water supply cut - similar to a power cut but potentially much smellier :(

I'm definitely considering that as an option :)
I'll got nuts if we end up with a water supply cut. I am having a cool shower 3 or 4 times a day and watering the garden early morning and late evening.

(So all your water is here. ner ner na ner ner).

I jumped into an irrigation ditch up to my waist yesterday on the way back to the car from Vaison La Romaine.

It was sheer bliss!
A cold facecloth applied to the pulse points will help you survive psychologically. Or, feet in a bowl of cold water.
And a fly spray.

Well the water is back on ... albeit with a slightly murky tinge to it.

The other problem is that the cold supply is coughing and spluttering rather a lot, which makes the mixer shower output quite [i variable in temperature...

... I don't think I'll be washing anything dangly or delicate [i] just ] yet :+()
and there was me thinking it was the pigs the other side of the farmyard.
