What would happen "IF" the Duchess of Cambridge lost her baby (that she is expecting) in child birth and the doctors treating her said that she cannot have anymore children, who would be next in line to the throne.

of course this didn't make it into the act (along with relaxing the religious stipulations), not because the idea was without merit, but because negotiating it past so many governments where the British monarch is head of state was in the "too difficult" box.

Ignoring the childish aspect of your reply, I would be quite happy to have any Head of State who is elected democratically, even if it wasn't the person I voted for. That's what democracy is all about.
