Nice to see the self-serving, money grabbing almost self elected bureaucrats who run 'the beautiful game' really did their research on this one before awarding the world's biggest sporting event to one of the hottest countries on earth that has absolutely no footballing history or pedigree, not to mention its stance on homosexuality.
And if any of the Brits are (un)lucky enough to qualify, will their fans cope without a beer or three? I don't expect many form this shores will attend either way.

Just shows if you put enough money in the back pockets of the FIFA officials you can buy anything you want.
I hope this decision to hold it in Qatar is reversed.
Sadly I am beginning to fall out of love with football, it has been a passion all my life.

Know exactly how you feel VHG, used to go to Premier League matches regularly 10-15 years ago, not any more.
I'll watch the odd game (Champions League Final was a great advert for football, particularly the first half) but my enthusiasm for the game waned a long time ago, what with all the histrionics, diving and feigning injury.
What got me was the Olympics. All the athletes, rowers, cyclists, gymnasts, Paralympians etc giving their all, some to the point of exhaustion. Who let the side down? The overpaid footballers who were pretty abysmal and cared not a jott.
