Wrapping An Empty Gift Box And Lid Seperate... How To?
6 Answers
Hello AB'ers.
I have purchased some small (6cm by 6cm) boxes that have completely removable lids. I couldn't find ones that that were patterned the way I wanted so thought it would be easy enough to wrap the boxes myself with desired paper.
I want to wrap the lid and box separately (so they are wrapped even when opened) and would like them to look as good as physically possible. Hvaing tried several attempts to wrap both lid and box I cannot for the life of me make them look good - the paper I am using is thin and very pliable but I can't seem to wrap the paper tight enough or get a good pattern.
I have tried YOUTUBE for a step by step guide and found a couple but both are using large boxes which seems much easier. I think the size of the box isn't helping.
Any ideas how to make my life easier to get these done - I only have to do 25 of the but its proving to be a pain.
Thanks for your help

Sadly there is no way I could describe it to you.
My top tip is to cut a piece of paper that is roughly the right size and shaped with just enough to tuck inside. Having an unwieldy, mahoosive sheet of paper does make your life extra difficult.
