Grape Sized Lumps

Under the skin on my shins and forearms, they are fairly noticeable visually, easily palpable, and to be honest, scary, any ideas please ?

Sounds like an allergic reaction. Have you taken an anti histamine?

How long have they been there? Possibly lipomas.

I am on permanent anti H, Loratadine.
I noticed the ones on my shins maybe 2 months ago, the one on my forearm, in the last 2 weeks.

Not painful or itchy? It does sound like lipoma to me. Which wouldn't be anything to worry about. It would be worth seeing what sqad thinks or maybe seeing your own doctor to check. Hopefully, it would put your mind at rest. Don't assume the worst at the moment.

Nothing sinister comes to mind.
More information:
Are the lumps hard or soft?
Are they mobile or fixed (i.e do they move)?
Have you any underlying disorders...e.g rheumatoid arthritis?
Are you on any medication?

could be sebaceous cysts.

1) Anyone else in the family have been so affected....daughter, son , brother sister?
2) Any smooth coffee coloured patches on the skin with well demarcated areas?

The lumps are soft and appear fixed.
No patches, but son had a couple on his shin.
I am on lots of meds for high BP, angina, underactive thyroid, COPD and asthma.

Well, I have something in mind but is not life threatening, but at the same time uncommon............see your GP and he may well arrange an excision biopsy of one of the lumps.

It is NOT cancer.

I will be interested in any feedback.

I have seen the GP today, he is happy enough that the ones on my shins are merely varicose veins. Thanks all.
