Mine stops working and needs replacing if just one of the colours has run out. Maybe that's happened to yours? Look on your printer menu and you should be able to find the test x
Are you sure you haven't got it set to print black & White only?

It might be more pertinent to mention which make & model of printer you have.

HP deskjet 3055A- is that helpful?
Question Author
Just looked at printer info and it says the printer is Deskjet 3050A Series J611.
If you go in to your Document program and write three separate lines of any text then change the colour of the fonts to RED, BLUE and YELLOW it will show you which colour of ink is still available when you print it out.
If you get white or pale lines running through the any of the text then stand the print head of the cartridge in a saucer of hot (not boiling) water and leave until cool. Then wipe print head with a paper tissue and try printing the text again.
Does your printer have a blocked jet ? Does the printer control panel allow you to run a 'clean cycle' ?
You haven't said what sort of printer you have and what model it is every brand of printer has different ways of dealing with this issue.
look at 14.35…
