How to send a fax
19 Answers
I urgently need to send a two page fax today. I'm a bit wary about the so-called free fax services I've found on the web and I can't find anyone in my area who has a fax machine. I think I may be missing something obvious here as it just seems so daft. Can anyone offer me some advice please?
Thanks

Thanks all. Unfortunately, I can't email the stuff as it's a form that a Water Supplier sent me to complete in order to claim a refund and exemption from charges. I also have to provide proof that I'm eligible for the scheme which means faxing letters I've received from my local authority.
The water has provide a fax number to send the stuff to them , but I've not been able to trace an email address - time is running out as I've got to get the documentation to them by the first of April.

I don't know if this is any good

I searched for 'fax via broadband' and got lots of hits.

I realise time is running short for you, but :
Many sites ask for cards, when there is a free introductory period but normally charges. One way to retain anonymity, or avoid passing sensitive credit card information over the ether is to use a prepaid card - W H Smith do a line of MasterCard ones, starting at £25. Once details given, and nothing charged, you can then spend anywhere that takes MasterCard. If they try to take any cash, the card will be empty. I have 58p left on one, a bit shamefaced about using it!
