so you'e back again. how are the mackerel and the marigolds?
after my op i had a tube that gave me morphine on demand. avoided it as much as i could but do remember that fully rigged sailing ships passing at the end of the bed were interesting along with the lad in the crow's nest calling he coud see land but pointing in opposite direction to me.
people behind a brown door (in an open ward) letting their little dogs nonstop.
watching the nurses compete in a dance of the seven veils.
There were 6 of us in the ward - one who was very frail and elderly was asleep most of the time - four of us got on well and one who complained about everything and everyone about not being able to cope, needed help at home but not fair mother, would not be able to work (she had hurt, not broken her foot) in an office, how was she going to cook meals, have a bath, etc, etc. i think you get the message.
oh yes WELCOME BACK.
