Hey, I'm after some serious technical help here.
This car starts and runs but after 1 or 2 minutes running, the idle slows down to 750/800 rpm, and it runs lumpy enough to shake the whole car.
Rule out the following and what do we have left?
OK are - plugs, disi cap, rotor, ignition leads, injectors, no vacuum leaks, MAP sensor, ECU, throttle body (and re-aligned), fuel pressure ok.
No faults showing on the diagnostic computer.

VWs of this age have an EGR valve which, if memory serves, directs hot exhaust air back into the engine to aid warming up on a cold start. These become dirty and can cause lumpy tick over.
