Beauty Counters, Do you need qualifications

Do you need beauty or make up qualifications to work on beauty counters, Like clinque or Estee Lauder??

Depends what you are working as, you can work as a standard shop assistant(ie just selling and advising) and not be qualified. But if you are doing treatments then a girl i knew had to go on a training course - but it wasn't an official qualification.

I think a pre-requisite is the ability to wear lots of orange foundation and Crayola make up trowelled on your face for that Coco-the-clown look.
