Following on from the drop down list solution, what's the best way - or is there a way of sending a sheet without all th edrop down lists travelling. ie a completed sheet with only that info?

Sorry Rinkytink. What I was trying to say, is that having filled in the form with bits filled in from the various drop downs, how could I e-mail it with just the visible data travelling. When I tried it the lists went with it, so the recipient could actually change what was sent [inadvertently or not]. Is that clearer?

Why not protect the worksheet ? Just go to tools - protection - protect sheet. This will prevent anyone from changing the data unless they enter the password that you have set up. They will still be able to see the list items in the drop downs but will not be able to change the cell value.

....Or once all of the drop downs are filled just highlight the entire sheet and select data - validation and from the data validation window click the clear all button. This will clear the drop down lists but will leave the data that has been entered in the cells.
