N/Kent, storms came in about 01:00 - 01:30ish, just going to bed, nearly got blasted out of it again 03:30, clap of thunder right overhead, loudest I've heard for a long time!

Thunder's not so bad during the day, mallyh. The lightning kept waking me up, fizzing through my eyelids.

Well shortly after I posted...we lost all power for an hour....couldn't do a thing...makes you realize how much we depend on power....had a job restoring router too..

Sorry didn't notice your post earlier MM, just posted to say Dundee is in the middle of a massive storm......thunder, lightning and torrential rain. Watered my garden last night too!
