When the proposed ban on 'porn' on the internet comes in how will they decide what is 'porn' and what is art or erotica , is there even a difference ?
Someone is going to have to decide on a definition of pornography and implement it.
What do AB ers consider is acceptable and what is not ?
Nude pictures ?
Stuff like 59 shades of grey?
Photos/ videos of people having sex or masterbating ?
Questions about what is normal and what is not in sexual matters?
Also how will this work ? what is to stop someone logging on to a site based in another country, Japan for example where I hear you can buy Pornography from vending machines in the street.

would this mean an end to searching for medical aids for sexual aids to pop up?
Only ask, as pal had a sister who was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and he searched for various bits n pieces and didn't get much help.

I still have visions of teams of moderators sitting over computer screens trying to decide what is acceptable and what is not.
Even if they could make it work, which I doubt (I'd suspect there to be a list of known sites blocked until they reopen, and probably little more) then the activity is unacceptable since it is basically a censorship that one has to deliberately say one doesn't want in order to get one's freedom back again. It seems based on the old discredited idea that what you watch changes you into some kind of monster; an argument that has been leveled at many PC/console games in the past with just as little validation. And appears to be there because parents don't wish to parent but want the State to do it for them, no matter the loss of rights to citizens. But listening to this latest Tory government their leader seems keen on all sorts of unreasonable legislation. Last I heard he claims to want to give tax breaks to families. Well I live in a family of one. Bet you I'm the sort of citizen he wants to contribute more in order to pay for the breaks to his favourites instead. And wasn't it only recently there was a cooling off by the government of the suggestion of free meals for all kids so the parents could be relieved of that responsibility too ? Ban governments is a much better idea.
