Sound Baffle

I have just read about putting "sound Baffle" on a acrylic washbasin as they are quite noisy otherwise.
I am having to replace mine and thought I would do the same.

What is it ,how does it come and where can I buy it...looked on B&Q website but they only have it for flooring.
Anybody out there know??

What did you read, Kloofers? I can't say I've ever heard of this.
How is your basin "noisy"?

A review in Kloofy's link mentions the need for foam or rubber on the underside of the sink to act as a 'sound baffle' Presumably this is like the sheets of rubber often found stuck to the underside of stainless steel sinks to reduce any loud drumming noise made when water from the taps hits the bottom of the sink. If so, then my feeling is that the bowl of this acrylic basin is perhaps thinner and less sturdy than it might be. With a thicker and more robust basin, there wouldn't be any need for a 'sound baffle'.

Well I'm baffled,I got mixed up taps ,bog all a gog but never heard of that
