Can anyone suggest ideas for a birthday party for a 10 year old boy. Also when do we stop these parties. he had his last full party at the age of seven (we celebrated at home with family) and then gave it a rest until the 10th one. I believe most of his friends did the same. So what options are there for a 10th party....done the cinema, magician, soft play area, home, Mcdonalds, etc. Please help.

How about taking him and his friends to an indoor climbing wall. I know some will cater for parties. He and his friends should be old enough. We kind of stopped parties when our kids were around 8 years old. Now they just have friends over for a sleepover.
ten pin bowling, or laser quest?
ice skating?
Swimming pool, my sons favourite was a indoor snow slope

Our local authority leisure centre caters for football or swimming parties.  My 10 year old son loved his swimming party.  One hour in the pool - then an hour eating meal provided.  Most leisure centres do similar things.

Lazer quest - as suggested by Icemansav.  Paintballing.  Zoo.  Theme Park.

Climbing wall & swimming pool are good ideas. If there is an indoor kart racing circiut near you, the boys would love it.Ask about deals for parties. Try to make this a special one, to emphasise that now he is getting older, "kids parties" aren't really the way ahead.

I would suggest laserquest. Boys do like playing with guns. And I know that they have little party bookings available where they provide food and stuff.

However Paintballing can really hurt so maybe not such a good idea for 10 year olds.

Come for a ride on the cosybike! 10 year olds think its great! 40 year olds going on 10 think its great! Grannys love it too

cosybike is suitable for ages 7 - 87

Hi there, i know this question is old but i was browsing through the site to find some ideas for myself and you know the 10th birthday is an important one, so i understand what your concern is, or rather was at the time. May i suggest a visit to zoo or water park? Those seem like nice ideas to me. Also in the meanwhile i found this site http://birthdayplanet.net/ it may be of use to you, good luck.
