What would you be doing? I'd love to be cooling off in an outdoor swimming
pool. Are there many outdoor pools that exist in the UK now?

i wouldn't be in Greece at this time of year, it's usually unbearable, you can find shade, but it means spending a fair bit of time in it. Go slightly later in the year and its very nice. As to now, don't know, outside in the garden with a cool breeze and a cold beer

Things are looking up already, Number one son just came home with a bottle of wine for mummy so thats chilling in the fridge as I type!

I sometimes use the outdoor pool in Gourock, Scotland beside the River Clyde.
It also has a gym.
They also open the pool late at nights for a 'Midnight Swim' under the stars.
Great fun because the pool is heated.

By a river, cold ale or wine in hand - or even a Pimms (though for me, that is more afternoon).

Up a Dales or Lakes mountain with the evening light setting can be rather nice too, cooler, and, of course, with the glass of vino in hand!
