I had a surprise present today..........two ladies cleaned my house from '' top to bottom'' thanks to one of my children. posted from the '' sparkling house '' :)

I think I would feel insulted if one of my kids did this for me, to me it would mean that they thought my house was a mess and I was incapable of being clean and tidy :-/ lol

Nooo, Daffy...for me it would mean my children know I love a clean and tidy house and to employ someone to do it for me in one go would be bliss... flowers and wine and pressies are lovely...but to do this for me...well!

daffy, I was not in the least insulted. I was told last night,,,,,,,,,so I did tidy up before they came :)

I wouldn't have felt insulted at all, my Mum and Dad arranged for landscapers to 'do' my Nans garden for a surprise treat, even although my parents were more than capable. She was thrilled !

I don't think they delve too deep , what a lovely gesture. Now for a meal out anne ;)

What a super surprise , I too would have loved it - I am forbidden (but still do ) to climb to reach cupboard tops and hang curtains, so would have been a real treat.
