Driving Licence Replacement

I passed my test in 1989, so got a pink licence without a photo. having not used it for donkeys years and moved abroad, its gone down that black hole. So when applying for a replacement, whats the procedure?

I you apply on line and have a current passport they can use the same photo. Clever innit?
