'Finished' on double 12 but it was outside the wire yet he didn't own up

Already leading the match on the way to an easy 6-1 victory, it's not what you'd expect from a 16 times world champ

it didn't even look close did it?
Nope - obviously hitting the table not the double vodka ...
Well if Eric says he cheated then he did (I love Eric Bristow). Seriously it may be a genuine mistake but at the end of the day it was the ref's responsibility to check.

As you walk up to the board you can see if a dart is in the bed or out.........Taylor obviously had his eyes shut as he retrieved his arrows
I agree joe but I was berated on here the other week for suggesting that Broad knew he was out in the test match. I can only repeat what I was told, it's the umpire's decision, or in this case the caller.
yup... we don't have access to the players' minds or eyes.

Broad DID know he was out

Thierry Henry DID know he handled the ball into the net

Roy Carroll DID know the ball was a yard behind his goal line

Cheats
well if you are bringing soccer into it then the whole sport is a cheating contest. At least with cricket/darts etc it's an occasional thing. The whole sport of Association football is predicated on cheating slightly better than the oppositon.

Unlike the Pakistan cricket team eh?
Toratoratora - that's a really big generalization. Referees are part of football, but I've never seen a referee cheat. They are trying to perform a really difficult job under immense pressure from players and media replays. There are also football teams that don't cheat, try reading about Corinthian Casuals.
who said anything bout the referees? Pretending to be injured, trying to get opponents booked etc, argueing every decision against them, The "players" bunch of schoolgirls.
I said you made a generalization. "The whole sport is a cheating contest" - your words. Officials are very bit a part of football as the players - neither can do without the other. I've still never seen a referee or linesman cheat, in what is an increasingly difficult role whether its in the professional leagues or on the local park on a Sunday morning.

don't be a pedant, you know I was talking about the players.
