Kindle Or Other Thing

My holiday present to myself is an ebook reader.

Can I ask A-bers for their personal recommendations, please?

Kindle or other thing? Pros and cons?

I'm likely just to be reading novels, but it will need to be able to store a good dozen or so since I can easily read a book in a day. I want it to be easy to download too and not cost a fortune.

I just don't know what is out there.....

Take the consideration of your purpose is reading book, kindle is no doubt your first choice

Do you have an Amazon account? Then get a kindle.

If you just want to read get an e-ink one (rather than a Kindle Fire). I went for a cheap one (£60 I think) so that it could be treated roughly - I have had to replace it once (after 2 years of use) with an equally abused version.
