It used to be fun to watch, I can't stand the racism story and now "Hayley" is so ill we won't hear so much of her mother-in-law's hilarious comments, I watch soaps for light-hearted entertainment, not to get preached at about politically correct and medical issues.
Hmmm, I think I might be spiteful if I overheard my mother and girlfriend colluding in the deceit, it is his brother after all. He is caught between a rock and a hard place. I watch Jeremy Kyle don't ya know ;)
Hayleys story i'm finding a bit tough to watch.Would have been 'easier' to watch if she had symptoms prior to the diagnosis.Unnecessary scaremongering for a soap, you cant go to you GP on the basis you have no symptoms but you've watched Corrie.

I'm finding the Hayley story quite upsetting as our close friend, actually he was my first love, has pancreatic cancer, and just like Hayley, it was very far advanced before diagnosis, in fact, the tumour can't be removed as it has grown into his main artery. The only difference is that he was bright yellow with jaundice and that was his first symptom. Apparently, it's often diagnosed too late.
