Trying to find death certificate for Hattie Laughlin (nee Elmes) b. 1899 in London.
Married Albert Cornelius Laughlin (1889-1952) London.
Can anybody direct me where to go next?
Have tried Genes Reunited, Ancestry, Find My Past.

Please help if you can. I have been searching for about two years.

I have had a quick look on the Free BMD,and whilst I CAN find her birth(and Albert's),I cannot find a marriage for her and Albert.
This doesn't mean they weren't married however,but if they weren't she may have been registered under her maiden name when she died?
This may be wrong of course,but it' s worth thinking about.
As pastafreak says,the person to really help you is Dotty,she is a mine of information.

Have you any idea where Albert was buried in 1952? Is his wife not buried with him? Did Hattie perhapa re-marry after Albert died? Did she maybe marry a John W M Maynard in 1955? Hattie Maynard died in Redbride in 1980 and her birthdate was 18 Jan 1899.

Albert and Hattie had 5 children,
Laurence C. born 1921 married Gene Srololviciute 1947.(prob. alive up to 2005)
Ivor (you know about)
Colin S. born 1923 married Winifred S Chapman 1949 (prob. alive up to 2005)
Una F F , born 1924 married ? Faber 1946 (not sure but prob alive up to 2005)
Eric P.C. born 1925 married ? Horton 1946 (prob. alive up to 2005)
On both those last the spouse match isn't right on ancestry but craft could check later on the enealogist.

Any of the above sons, the daughter or daughters -in-law or son-in-law of Hattie could have been the informant on her death, therefore when you order Hattie Maynards death cert give these surnames as possibe connections.,

ok craft has identified the 2 missing spouses, Una married leslie H Taber and both were probably still living in 2005 and Eric married Iris R Morton, Iris died in 1998.
