Well did you see poor Carol on BBC Weather this morning? She was reporting from a Stately home near Heathrow and got absolutely drenched in a torrential downpour!

i will never understand the need to have roving reporters discussing the weather, it's pointless, we can see it's raining by sticking our head out the door, same if it's sunny...

several weeks of sun and August is back with a bang.
Driving home on Sunday afternoon, ran into a torrential downpour. My mp3 decided at that moment, to play Handel's water music.

its like a lido out there, without the beach towels, they seem to have been all blown away in the wind
Just building up to the usual weather pattern for our holiday then :( We go caravanning on 12th.
Its all gone dark here as well apart from the lightning. Sounds like skittle alley up there.
