Buying a Death certificate.
I am having trouble registering online with the GRO as I do not have the page number of the relevant entry in 1911, despite knowing quarter and volume number. What site can I go on to find this please?

Make sure you go to the official site

to buy the cert. It should cost around £10. If your are asked to pay more like £20 for standard service you are on a lookalike get-rich quick site.

Interesting sigma. Can you explain how you get the info you want and know where to go ? My genealogy has ceased of late since I was fed up with getting folded certificates by an uncaring GRO. There's only so much one can do scanning records on line without getting the solid evidence of a certificate.
So you can't just go to a local office and order/collect ? That would kick start me off again, I'm sure.
