Ipad Problem.

My husband has a new IPAD and at first it made clicking sounds when he played games and sent texts but this has suddenly stopped.
I checked the sounds and general tabs and it said everything was working but obviously it is not.
Can anyone tell me how to rectify this for him?

I know it might sound obvious but since its new, has he found the volume control on the side? He might have turned the sound off by mistake.

There is a little mute button on the side and that has probably been moved.

Tried the switch on the side.

There is a switch and volume controls (one for up and one for down) on the side. I just switched the switch and my typing went clicky, regardless of volume.
