I can go back over 20yrs when I was at work and had great respect for a senior executive of a Nationalised Industry who was as bald as a coot and, being a number of years younger than he was, I always addressed him as Mr. ****** when he attended meetings at my organisation. However, after he took to wearing a wig and contact lenses, I lost all respect for him and thenceforth had no compunction of using his Christian name.

beezaneez.. although it would cost you more... why not go to a salon...?? I work in a salon... unisex..and we get a few men in who have thier hair coloured... no-one bats an eye when they come in.. and at least thier hair colour looks good! I cant advise you on ''over the counter'' stuff as I have no experience with that... Good Luck Mrs C xx

Beez I lost all of my hair, which as a woman could have been pretty traumatic, but I didn't let it be.
When my hair came back I kept it super short but I'm now growing it, and when I decided to do that, I decided to stop dyeing it too.
I'm going grey and I don't care. It matches my skin tone and anyway, what's wrong with having lived longer than some others?
Wear your grey with pride. It's never put me off a man.

One tip i would suggest is to use a slightly lighter shade than your normal hair.
The reason for that is that when the dye starts to grow out or fade there isnt such a stark difference between that and the grey showing thro.
Hoep that makes sense a hairdresser once told me that and it seems to work :-).
Also it is only marketing that stops men using women's hair dye. Go for it.
If you are embarassed to buy it get your OH or a female friend to go with you, they can also help pick out the right colour.
Good luck x
