Yup. When you are retired (or running a business or self-employed, come to that) you only know it's a weekend because you don't have tradesmen and workers turning up and there are fewer emails and phone calls. And you know when it starts; that's when you get the reply "He's/ She's out of the office until Monday" at about 2.30.
