I'd love to agree with that, but I fear in the majority of cases a pensioner taking on someone in their twenties would come off worse so I wouldn't encourage them to try it. Good luck to them if they do though.

my dad had a similar experience, he was 74 and 5 blokes came into his shop kicking off, one of them grabbed a broom and kicked the end off and raised it to my dad .. my dad grabbed it and punched the lads head in - he hit him that hard and fast that he broke his own hand.
the other lads just stared at him and crapped themselves ... they eventually ran off ... just as my brother came out with a bat.
