Al Qaeda Threat: Officials Fear 'ingenious' Liquid Explosive
There are growing concerns that an al Qaeda affiliate could use a new generation of liquid explosive, currently undetectable, in a potential attack. The new tactic allows terrorists to dip ordinary clothing into the liquid to make the clothes themselves into explosives once dry.

How many more are waiting the call? How many planes cross London towards heathrow everyday, just needs one pilot to be an islamic fanatic, and total carnage will ensue. There will be no warning, no loss of radio communication. I have been in South London and seen hundreds of planes going by all day. It will just take the one in a million, and the odds are getting shorter.
Good heavens, annie! Do tell us when it is safe to come out. Good God, our parents or grandparents went to bed not knowing whether they'd be alive in the morning or survive the air raid. We lost over a million houses in the War and tens of thousands of civilians, and you are worried about a one in many millions chance in peacetime. You'd better make any aerial you have disconnected in case your house is struck by lightning.
that is the thing isn't it, people can be smart when they are not remotely involved or likely to be, same when one talks of immigration having an affect. all right if you live in sleepy hollow, perhaps not so much so if you are living in a major city. Not to mention i was in the same place, not too far from the bus bomb. joke about it, not really. We have had plenty of practice too with the IRA so the idea of perhaps more to come doesn't fill me with anything but foreboding. I don't live in fear, at least not over that, but the thought comes to mind if i have to use the tube, it's hell anyway, and being caught there with a bomb going off makes me like it even less.
